Location: 7 Warren Street, Newark, NJ 07102 (Central Ward)
Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Functions: Art gallery, wellness center, safe passage corridor, community hub, mentoring site
Reach: 1,000+ community members served annually
Model: Cohort-based (8–10 youth per cohort), expert-led instruction (not volunteers)

Summer Programming

HigherSelf's summer intensive programming achieved a 100% return rate — every attendee wanted to come back. Summer programming includes expanded hours, SYEP employment pipeline integration, cross-track projects, field trips, and career panels. Backed by MetroPower and sponsored by OVPTR and the City of Newark.
